MALDEF RELEASES ILLINOIS LEGISLATIVE REDISTRICTING MAP
SPRINGFIELD, IL - MALDEF will release its proposed Illinois legislative redistricting map and testify before the General Assembly Redistricting Committee today, April 25, 2011 at 3:00 pm in Room 114 of the Capitol Building in Springfield.
MALDEF is committed to ensuring that Latinos in the United States have an equal opportunity to participate in the political process and elect their candidates of choice, in accordance with the federal Voting Rights Act.
